Unable to login on Web GUI - Invalid username/pass

Hi All,

Fresh install of latest build (02/12/2022) onto a digital ocean droplet,

admin/admin doesn't work,
tried registering a new user, not able to login,

Downloaded the android traccar manager app and was able to "login" via the app and then enable me other registered user, but still not able to login on the web front end on browser,

is this a known bug or are there settings that are needing to be changed to access it?

admin/admin should work. If it doesn't, you're doing something wrong.

Followed the not so detailed instructions on first build onto DO
https://www.traccar.org/install-digitalocean/

after install went to http://[IP OF SERVER]:8082
put in admin / admin
Nothing happened, it just bounced back saying incorrect details when using web page - so not exactly much else "i can do" to do it wrong..

What I have been able to as stated was go on via the mobile app to validate my other user, but still not able to login via web page at all on any user -- so suggestions would be appreciated

Are you saying you're able to login via mobile app, but not the website? Then the issue is likely with your browser. Maybe you have cookies disabled or something like that.

Indeed, have tried in Chrome and Firefox, both showing same issue,
Also tried with Incognito browsing, issue still presents
to discount cookies and local pc, have tried on a separate laptop and done the same test - still present

However on Chrome on my mobile phone it works along with the mobile app both on LTE and on local wifi on the same network as the laptop and PC
which is very strange..

I think both fields are case sensitive, so make sure you don't enter any upper case letters.
