When using the traccar manager on IOS it updates the vehicles location all the time when the app is in focus.
Often when I switch to other apps and come back, it seems like traccar manager lost connection to the server.
The only way to solve this is to kill the task and start it again.
Maybe you could enable background-updates in the app? This would also be nice when I enable the live-tracking feature (the cat-paw symbol). Now I have to stay in the app to keep getting updates
I believe it's just the behavior of the Safari engine. I don't think we can enable some background mode. Have you tried waiting for a minute or so? It still doesn't work?

When i switch to another app and get a notification about movement of a unit, when go back to traccar manager shows the unit offline. I have to force close the app and reopen it.
