I am using latest version of traccar on IOS.
I think I have mentioned this problem before. When I task-switch or my phone or it has been sleeping, the live update of device positions seems to stop.
Even if I wait a couple of minutes, the device will not update it's live position anymore.
I can still make reports and see the last movements in the reports.
Only way to fix it is kill the app and restart it.
Maybe it could be fixed, if you make some sort of reconnection, if you loose the connection with the server.
I am pretty sure it's IOS that somehow disconnects live connections, but I guess you could do a check, and reconnect?
That sounds great.
When do you think that will be released?
I don't have the environment to compile that.
