Retranslation of monitoring devices to the protocol (AIS) AIVDM

Question about technical feasibility
There is a server with connected GPS monitoring devices.
Is it possible to relay selected devices in the NMEA AIS AIVDM protocol over TCP/UDP?
There is a task to display GPS monitoring devices in the open source marine navigation program OpenCPN as AIS targets

It's possible to implement, but not available out of the box.
