Mictrack MT825 Experience
You got an CAT M1 SIM card? From which operator if I may ask? Is it a global one?

Hey Ghosty. I got a Twilio 'Super SIM' which works globally. Easy to set the SIM up, and easy to follow the instructions with the Mictrack with the included USB->Serial cable.
Super SIM is $3 to buy, $2/month and $0.10/MB.
I have used 0.235MB in the 4 days I've had it active @ $0.02.

Been looking into a few services but most are for "business only" customers which is frustrating.

They deal with personal and business and you can just get one SIM, no minimums.
I ordered a Mictrack MT825 recently and set it up tonight. Instructions are easy enough to set up, using an included USB->Serial cable and a terminal tool. Just make sure the correct ports are open on your Traccar server, and to switch the device to UDP protocol as TCP isn't supported.
SOS button works too as an event.
