Device says it's a TK203 but... I feel that's not really the case...

Hi,

Bought a device that stated that it is a TK203 (xexun protocol and hence port 5006) but somehow I feel that's not the case.

Device sends a 283037323130303939383337364250303033353236373231303039393833373648534f50344229 which actually shows the device ID (that matches the device ID and all) but... nothing else.
Am I missing something? is the 2830 the start of a known path for TK203? I've been looking on the devices page for unknown / clone devices.

Anyone has any idea of what protocol I should aim at?
Thanks in advance!

Nevermind... Someone wrote TK203, the GPS device itself says it's using a TK203 firmware (whatever that means....) on the check message, but changed it to the TK103 port and guess what? It works!

Leaving this here as it might be useful for someone else :)

You should also probably read this:

Hi Anton, I actually did read that too. I was a bit confused on how I could "match" the 28303 beginning with the clone model, so I started opening the Test Cases for Protocols and finally, on the TK103 I saw it started with 28383 and it was close enough so I decided to try with that one.

It worked well so I consider my case fixed and closed ;)

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
