Kernel panic -not syncing:Fatal exception in interrupt traccar in digitalocean

Angelzarias2 years ago

the last few days my traccar hosted on digitalocean has suddenly crashed, it doesn't allow me to access the console and when trying with the recovery console the following error appears, after restarting the server manually it works 30-50mins and crashes again... I have reinstalled the traccar a lot of times and nothing works it seems at the database level or maybe the operating system?

Seems like some digitalocean issue. How much RAM do you have there?

I started a few months ago with 1gb, then I increased to 2gb and a few days ago when the error appeared I increased to 4gb and 80gb of space, I also had problems before because the 30gb disk had filled up and caused me many problems... when increasing space and manually updating the disks got better, but that was about a month ago, now this error appeared suddenly as if something was damaged

my other problem is that i did an installation of digital ocean, so the traccar/data folder is not where the database is stored, my idea is to rebuild the droplet and reinstall traccar and add the database , I have approximately 300 devices. but, i can't find the database folder via ftp

You should use a MySQL database instead of the default one.

Also 300 is a pretty large number of devices, so might need to scale up more, depending on the reporting frequency.
