Android Client not auto starting after phone reboot
Are you sure you haven't manually stopped the app? In that case Android system would prevent it from auto-start on boot.
Yep. Definitely have not manually stopped the app. Tested and retested. Runs fine when started manually, left it running powered off device then powered back on. Checked server and running apps on device and trac at is not running. Are there any additional setting I need to modify in Android itself or additional permissions require to start on boot. I note that the start on boot permission is already in the app.
Any help would be great. Thanks again. The project is really cool, I just gotta work out what's preventing the startup.
Traccar Client already requests all permissions required for start on boot. It has been tested. My guess it that your devices have some vendor-specific firmware customization preventing app from starting. What versions of Android are on your phones?

Love the project.
Setup the server and both the hidden and normal apks on two different android devices, Samsung and LG. after power the devices off and back on, the Traccar client does not auto start the service again. Nothing in the client status log, it just isn't running. Confirmed in running apps settings.
Any ideas how to get this working?
