I wrote an app for the doghandler.
For the dog itself we don't use gps tracking.

A GPS on the dog would be helpful so that we can see where the dog has already walked in the area.
In the best case I can see both tracks on the map.
The desired state would be that you can see all the teams (human / dog) on the map and also have an area map of the individual teams.

We use traccar to send the team location to the mission control and to the police. There the track of a dog does not show if an area is searched well. You don't see the wind, fences, water etc.
