Hi, my server is not responding to some devices connecting to it.
I openned ports (5001,9000) and both my 303F and TK103b can't even connect to my server either by DNS or IP.
The logs don't record any entries from either ones, only from my cellphone and other GPS devices.
When connecting to the default DNS I get GPRS=ON on port 9000, so the device works, but on my server it won't even respond.
What I think it could be the issue is the firewall, but even putting the server on DMZ and openning the ports on the windows firewall, no response.
I've restarted the traccar service over and over and nothing yet.
My server: arjamex.hopto.org or 201.171.13.85
Default port: 8082
Can someone test one of their devices and see if they can connect to my server?
Traccar doesn't listen on port 9000. Check documentation.
Even if I port forward External port 9000 to Internal port 8082?
Thank you for your reply.
Why would you map to internal port 8082? It's not a port for devices. I'm confused.
Then that might be my issue, the default port for traccar on my server is 8082, and the 303f uses 9000 as it's default, Should I forward it to some other port?
Port 8082 is only for the web app. For devices you should use ports 5xxx.
Ahhh that did it. Thank you.
For future reference, my mistake was I port forwarded device port to web app.
