google maps in traccar

Hello ,

how to show traffic in the map ? and is using google map for public legal ?
if not i hope someone would help me or show me the way to get the google maps agreement to add maps with traffic in traccar

You can use tiles directly, but it's unlikely that they give a legal permission.

so this means that they may ban my domain if i did that ?

It's unlikely they are going to care if you have a small business and use it with a low traffic volume. I never heard about anyone getting banned yet, but who knows. Anything can happen.

sorry for asking alot i just want traffic colors on the map to detect which road has more traffic at the moment will this be considered as low traffic volume or high ?
i just need the colors on the map which indicates the traffic

Obviously I'm talking about volume of request to Google servers, not road traffic volume.

sorry for asking again but do you mean by request to google servers is that at every device movement a new request is sent for every device ? because i didn't understand the "request to google servers"

It's irrelevant to know when exactly the request is sent. How many users do you have or plan to have?

1 user for the traccar website (the admin) on the server and maybe around 300 device , i just need to know which roads has traffic (from colors) to route the drivers to another roads

so the problem with requests is number of users who login to traccar or number of devices ?

So my earlier comment is valid then. It's a very small deployment, so Google probably won't block you if you use their tile servers directly. I won't post the solution here because it's against their T&C to use tiles directly, but you can find how to do it with a bit or research.

so to be clear for all who might see my thread that number of devices wont matter but number of users who will have accounts on the traccar may get detected

If you are asking this question you didn't understand anything. Don't try it before you do more research and understand the risks I'm talking about.

am feeling silly , sorry for writing again but I've searched a lot and couldn't find any alternative map with traffic (by colors) on it so can u please provide or send me solution with mail or provide me with a guide if possible
