I looked at the report today of my routes. I went on a simple walk around the block, and the report is a mess... It looks like a birds nest.
I hardly moved at all between the hours of 12 - 5. In fact I stayed stationary during that time. I then got up and walked around at 5:15. The report has squiggles 50 meters to 100 meters away, like I threw the device with a string attached and pulled it back from where it landed.
I'm using iPhone 8 plus. Location accuracy High, and Offline buffering.
What's the accuracy of the location reports that you get?
Not bad, but are you aware of the spider like phenomenon when you're standing still? Why not update the database when the target is moving, or is it tied to the GPS of the device? Keep in mind I am in a high rise with semi-decent reception.
I was asking for specific numbers.
Bad GPS accuracy is expected when you have high rises around. That's just physics.
