Yes, you can hide various elements. See user attributes.
I have checked this but I am unsure how to stop the disable of say one item in the State Panel.
Say I want to remove the one line which is prefixed by the word Satellite.
How would I stop that from being displayed via a setting in User Attributes.
You add "UI: Hide Position Attributes" parameter with "sat" as value.
Ok found it now - when wanting to hide multiple items in the State Panel for a specific user add the following as a User Attribute.
UI: Hide Position Attributes di1 di2 sat priority distance io24 event
To find out which attributes you can work with check route report in excel.
Thanks this is already a great help, is there any way to block the entire status window for a user ?
No.
Ok, that's unfortunate... but not a huge issue, one other question, the Hide Position Attributes seems to only work on those attributes that are in the "Attributes" column in an excel export for a device, would it be possible to hide other attributes such as speed or protocol for specific users?
No, currently you can only hide attributes, not base position properties.
Hi, thanks for the speedy response, obviously not the response we had hoped for, but nevertheless..... still very happy with the flexibility of the system and the work you have done to get it where it is... thanks
I have been asked if it would be possible to remove unwanted items from the display.
Is it possible to remove entries from the State Window or even at a User Level?
I think not as it is a pure translation from what the sending device supplies.
