Haicom commands

Christian Muckle7 years ago

Dear All,

I have 3 HI604x trackers, which work perfectly well with Traccar since years. From time to time there would be a scope to change something in their config (e.g. new target phone number, activate vibration detection...), and that's where one unmounts the device for PC connection (cumbersome, mechanically), sends an SMS command (cumbersome with MultiSIMs, as the "first" only collects all SMSs), or finds ones way to the right GPRS command ;-)

This is where I stand...
I'm unsure whether I need to change the config port on the device from 1943 default to something else (5063 like for TCP(/UDP)?).
I'm unsure whether the syntax for, say, command #10 (send coordinates via sms to phone) -i.e. $GPRS012xxxximeixxxx,TX201,#10,+49176xxxxxxxx,* - is correct and/or complete. (That's actually what the Haicom server claims sending)
I'm unsure whether all sms commands (list below) can be translated that way.

What should I write to the user-defined-command?
Can anybody please enlighten me?

Kind regards,
Christian

You need to check protocol documentation to find out commands format.

Hi Anton,

You're right of course. I'm trying to get that documentation for some time in vain. I therefore hoped someone here had it, or had gone through the same try-and-error I've done up to now.

My questions thus stand: How have Haicom "X" users set-up their config ports for Traccar? Does this syntax for a Haicom custom command
$GPRS012xxxximeixxxx,TX201,#10,+49176xxxxxxxx,*
trigger any idea for improvement to anybody?

Cheers, Christian
