There is no configuration option for it, but the source code is open, so you can easily remove it from there.

I don't like to see the location circle, the map and darker, I'm not practical with source code, I go back to version 4.8. Thank you

Reasoning makes no sense to me. By default there is no current location circle on the map. You have to click on the button to see it.

I tried to click with the mouse but the circle does not go away, tomorrow I will do other tests then I update you. Thank you Anton

I would also recommend providing a screenshot. I suspect we might be talking about different things.
