Example. Orange client. Raspberry tracker Bi Trek 868.
The settings are the same. The server is the same.
Frequency 10
Distance 200
Angle 10

My parameter bearing is 0.0. Where does the application get it from the GPS or compass?

Yes, I am. I use gps, but bearing is 0.0. Android 9. Does the app need additional permissions?

How did you determine that GPS is used? Zero bearing usually indicates that it's a network based location.

I turned off wifi and networks. Used only GPS and tarkar client.
