Traccar doesn't generate alarms by itself. Your device must still be sending it.
A disabled device is still able to send notifications to traccar website, mail and traccer app?
That's a question to your device vendor.
I've disabled the device in traccar...
It seems even when i disable the device in traccar, the system is still accepting updates from the gps tracker. (No warning "Disabled device")
My GPS tracker have a little battery onboard. Now I've kicked out the sim card and the notifications ends.
If I reconnect the sim to gps tracker I can see the first time in log: "WARN: Disabled device"
so it seems, after disabling a device I've to disconnect the sim card, otherwise the device is still able to send updates to my system.
Device needs to reconnect for it to take affect.
Ok. Thank you for your advice!!!!
Hi!
I've some issue on my configuration
GPS tracker (h02) is connected correctly to selfhosted traccar server.
Notifications are working correctly
If i do a powercut, traccer system send the alarm correctly to mail, web, ...
the alarm will be send every 5 Minutes again.
BUT:
If i deactivate the device, my system is still sending the alarm every 5 minutes.
Any ideas about my mistake?
Kind Regards
Chris
