Been using the app for some years, and I recently had to re-install it on my Android phone, and it would not connect to the demo servers with the offered URL of http:\\demo.traccar.org
I knew I had to change it to the demo server my device is registered on (2), but it still would not connect.
Eventually I found the URL needs to be changed to HTTPS as below:
https:\\demo2.traccar.org - and that worked - at least on my phone.
This may help others, and continued thanks to Anton for letting the likes of me use his system for free.
