Protocol implementation for Traccar 4.2

Hello friends,

I need to implement the S168 protocol for my server version. (4.2)
What is the correct way to do this implementation?

I bought a bike tracker and it works on that protocol.

I discovered the protocol by Hex Decoder.

Is it supported in newer version of Traccar? If yes, why not upgrade?

I tested the test server device (Demo server 1)

The device connects to the server, but does not send the location. I thought about the subject, and because it is probably a "clone" and there may be something wrong with the line of code sent to the server.

Hence the question. on the test server there is no way for me to look at Hex, and on my server only the NUll line of the protocol appears.

"S168 # 358511139046180 # 00c9 # 0009 # SYNC: 0000"

I don't feel safe to update the server, just because of a single device that is not working well.
