I thing this device and ruptela devices in general are not fully supported....I setup one I realized cut- engine command is not developed.
Any plan to do it in near future?

Any advice for cut engine commands...? Also noticed that engine status based on DIN4 (or any other DIN) are not working.

Alguien sabe algo de los comandos de apagado, tambien he notado que el esado del motor por las entradas DIN4 o cualquiera de las otras no está siendo detectado correctamente.

What do you mean by not working?

Manuel Cabrera3 years ago

mean are not detected, din4 (ignition) is enabled but traccar doesnt dected as engine ON, it should say engine ON or OFF, but it doesnt.

Do you see it in the position attributes?

Manuel Cabrera3 years ago

OK, i noticed when there is no power on DIN(x) it show ginition false

Assuming you are not using computed attributes, this means that your device is probably not reporting ignition value when it's on.

Manuel Cabrera3 years ago

How to fix it, please advise, am new on traccar.

Anton Tananaev3 years ago

How to fix the device? Probably better to contact Ruptela support.

Manuel Cabrera3 years ago

Ho you mean its a device problem. Ok I will contact ruptela thanks.

Manuel Cabrera3 years ago

Well I dont think its device problem as U just tested on other platform and it works pretty fine.
Show recognize ignition and recognize and excecute commands, traccar doesnt execute commands and dont recognize ignition status.

If you are sure that it's not a device issue, feel free to log a bug. We would need:

  1. HEX sample
  2. Breakdown of the sample to show it includes expected value
  3. Protocol documentation (optional)
