I've used port check tool and port 5055 on my QNAP is closed even if I've opened it explicitely.
Traccar Client used same web address port.
try your 18082
Hello, and thanks.
Traccar Client, from documentation, uses port 5055.
Howerver, I've tried port 18082 as you told me: I don't receive the Sent Failed message but on Manager I see my device offline.
So, I've tried using the Demo3 server (http://demo3.traccar.org/), connecting from my Android to port 5055 and it works.
Any help, please?
I've checked everything, but I can't understand what to do.
The default.xml file has decommented the 5055 line: nothing.
I've created Port Forwarding on router for 5055 port for IP of my NAS: nothing.
I've reserved on NAS in UPNP section port 5055: nothing.
I don't know what to do.
BTW: how can I restart Traccar on QNAP?
Stupid question ok, but... how? I have to restart NAS to let it work.
Hi,
I have the same problem. What was the reason?
Hello people,
I've TS128A Qnap NAS and I've installed QJDK8 and Traccar.
I've opened port 18082 on my NAS and I can reach the Traccar Manager from Internet.
I've installed Traccar Manager on my Android too, and it works very good using my WAN IP address to login to Traccar Manager on my QNAP.
But...
I've installed Traccar Client, I've setup my IP address and port 5055, but I'm unable to see my Android device on Traccar Manager.
From Android log in app, I see Sent Failed message.
I've opened port 5055 on my NAS, of course.
Someone can tell me what to do to solve situation, please?
I've put my NAS on DMZ, too, without success.
Thanks,
Pierluigi
