Teltonika MB920

Evening all.
The year before last I fitted a tk103b to my motorcycle. After a few months the gps transmitter got wet, shorted out and started seriously draining my battery, to the point that it killed it. I’ve seance setup my own traccar server and would like to start utilising it.

I’m considering purchasing an FMB920 but wondered if anyone had fitted one to a motorcycle,
what is the power drain like?
Any special precautions to protect it?
The tk103B was configured with text messages, but it looks like this is setup with software, is it relatively easy to use?
How much data is transmitted on a 5 second interval, is it possible to calculate the data required/power used at this interval?
Can it be set to go into a low power state if movement is less than say 200m?
I notice that it has two other inputs, I assumed one was ignition, but I don’t think this is the case, what can the inputs be used for?

The motorcycle battery isn’t exactly the most power thing in the world and sometimes it can be a couple of weeks between use, so ideally I don’t want to destroy another battery.
If it works well, I’d also look at fitting them to the family cars too. A Renault Espace and a Nissan qashqai, I assume that it would be ok in this use case too? I’m also assuming a simple gift gaff sim will do the job?

Many thanks, And Sorry for the multiple questions
