Traccar displays a ring around the icon for mobile phone

Hi I have added my mobile phone to my Traccar server. It works ok but Traccar displays a ring around the icon on the map.
Is this by design?
Can the ring be removed?

It is by design. It shows location accuracy. Similar to how Google Maps does it.
