No sense data report

Jan Breinbauer5 years ago

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to find where is the problem. We have 16 harvest machines all the same vehicles, all connected at the same wires and all using same GPS model and firmware. But after we ask Traccar for reports it shows odd results for some vehicles.

I share a link were you can see odd data ! [odd data reports] (https://www.dropbox.com/s/h6qatihbklycqe2/Odd%20data.pdf?dl=0)
Example1: For a 24 hrs report it shows 24 hrs 8 min engine hours. It doesn't make sense it supossed it will show at least 24 hrs o less.
Example2: Same vehicle show 0 engine hours for one day but the following day making no physical changes shows engine hours. And the day it show 0 hrs we know for fact the engine was on.

Has any one experienced odd data like this?

Thanks
Jan.

Are hours reported by your device or calculated on the server based on ignition?

Hi Anton, thanks for your response!

For the moment I know that in Traccar in the State panel > Attribute > Ignition I have got Value: YES and it works accordly to reality with the ignition from the vehicle. But if I export a route report in excel, for a record with speed and motion=true I have got ignition=false.

¿Is there any place I can check?

Thanks,
Jan.

You can disable this "processing.engineHours.enable" and check.

Hi Anton, thanks again for your help. We apply the change and it's working awesome. We run physical test with the harvest machine and engine hours is counting perfect.

On the other hand:

  1. The day (03/03/2020) we make the change but we don't know why the resume report, only for that specific day, show negative engine hours. What could be happening?
  2. Is there any way we can do the change starting 01/01/2020? So previous data is good too?

Thanks,
Jan.
