OBD2 Hotspot for Traccar

Hello everybody!

I am looking for an OBD2 LTE hotspot with telemetry and tracker transmission for use on the Traccar server. This should be able to implement a DNS name resolution because I use NO-IP as DYNDNS (have no fixed IP available).

Does anyone of you an idea which device fulfills my wishes?

I would say none. You van probably have problem finding a 3G OBD 2 tracker. I am looking but have not found any

It's possible to implement customized solutions (like your requests) with Raspberry Pi as hardware + Linux.
On top of that you can add:

  • 2/3/4/5G modems (one or more)
  • wifi adapter for hotspot
  • OBD2 to USB adapter
  • e.t.c.

Such solutions are already used in production by years.
