Depends on the protocol.
thanks for quick reply.
is not it IMT.11 and IMT.14?
from ur reply, it seems there is something i missed or not understand?
what i want is to connect these tow types to the Traccar.
appreciate ur help.
Do you know what protocol those devices use? You need to have documentation from the vendor.
yes, i have the specification of them.
Specification? Or protocol documentation? Can we see it?
This is NOT protocol documentation. Not sure how device spec is relevant here.
sorry for my mistake in the link.
ok, I understand.
so now the solution is to use reverse engineering to get the packet from a running device on Arvento system and build the protocol on traccar?
If you don't have the protocol documentation, then yes, you can try to get message samples and see if it's possible to reverse engineer it.
thank you Mr Anton.
wish u the best.
Re: This is NOT protocol documentation. Not sure how device spec is relevant here.
This seems to be the way with many of the available trackers. All of the good ones seem to have been effectively comandered by resellers who hog the protocol documents for themselves.
I think I have looked through specs for 200+ devices and have not found protocol info on any of them. And more and more of them seems to be locked at a tracking service. At least the say
Mouhannad allouf - Did you fixed Arvento protocol issues? If not please write here and see how we can solve the problem. The protocol PDF at imt14-Tech_Spec.pdf link removed
I am ready to help in reverse engineering, have a lot of experience.
Hi, I have these tow devices models ( Arvento imt.11 and imt.14 ).
I know that the system is capable for defining any device.
Does any one have done the definition before? or I have to get the data sheet and build the new protocols?
thanks in advance.
