But where to find the logs on Synology?
@1sthandy should be able to answer this question. He is the author of the package.
Question to @1sthandy: How and where can I find the tracker-server.log file On Synology?
I still do not receive any data in Traccar.
Status: iphone client set at 5001; modem/router mapped at 5001-public, 55001-LAN and firewall open for these ports; Synology firewall open for port 55001.
I wonder how Traccar knows it needs to listen to port 55001; or is this not the problem.
Traccar Client uses port 5055. In case of Synology I guess it should be 55055.
Thanks. I updated to 55055, no success. I tried your demo.traccar.org (iphone, 5055 and your IP address) but don't see the data coming through. Do you see any data coming in?
What do you see on the status screen in the app?
Bit late response:
status screen shows: 18:24 Location update; 18:25 send failed; 18:25 Location update; 18:25 Location update; 18:26 Location update.
Send failed can mean one of two things:
I am still struggling with getting data from my iPhone in to demo version (107.150.40.254).
The client status: 15:05 location update.
As identifier i used the full IMEI number of the iPhone, so including the first 0; total 15 digits.
I use port 5055.
Could you please help me out with this?
Do you still get "send failed"? What is your device id?
iPhone works fine now on my demo and on own server (on Synology). The TK103 is still a problem. This device id starts with 03903455xxxx. I tried all the mentioned ports and device idea (IMEI and replaced first 4 characters for a 0),
I don't see any data from your device in the server logs.
This is what I sent to the tracker: Adminip<password> 40.122.161.243 5002
Or is it without dots in the ip-address?
Check logs (tracker-server.log) to see if data is coming from devices.
