Difficulty connecting odoo v12 addon
You should probably contact odoo plugin support. What exactly is "badly configured"?
Previously I contacted the technical service of the odoo addon. With a traccar test server the addon worked correctly, so I was told that the addon was working fine. And indeed the connection was fine. The support indicated that it was the problem of the traccar server itself, but they no longer gave me more information. Exactly I don't know what will be the bad configuration of the traccar server itself. Well, between that server and my smartphone there is connectivity. But by replicating the configuration in the odoo addon, the error "Could not connect to Traccar, please check your Traccar Settings!" That is the information I have available.
I was looking at purchasing the odoo plugin to but I have just opted to replicate on my side. Will update incase I face any challenges when I try to connect from odoo to traccar.. From the api perspective from postman things are fluid.
You should test traccar api and check that server is OK, I have Odoo with Traccar addon and them works fine.

I have a problem with the connection between the odoo addon and the own traccar server that I installed on an Ubuntu 18 server. On a test server, the connection between smartphone, addon and traccar server works fine. But when I change the addon configuration to point to my own server, the connection is no longer possible. Previously I was told that the traccar server is badly configured, but I have no idea what the bad configuration is.
I installed it on Ubuntu as the official documentation of traccar says, and it is in version 4.6. I also enabled port 8082, and the server is running normally.
