Fuel sensor through a linux machine (onboard computer) sending data to traccar

Hi!
I got an onboard computer (with linux) which has a USP/GPS dongle and a script which takes the GPS data and sends it ... now I need to connect a fuel sensor in the same way (through a usb port) and sens fuel information to traccar

Any ideas? some brand suggestions?
