Traccar Server, NAT, and offline/unknown statuses

Hello, I'm running Traccar Server behind a NAT, and my devices will only go offline after 24 hours without an update. Is this caused by the router or server not correctly handling NAT? Everything is stuck as 'unknown' status.

Thanks!

We can only guess. You need to troubleshoot it to get to the root of the issue.

hi Anton, i want to know how to send the principal data to the server, as I got the device's data with my app, stored in my database , and i am creating app to send it to the traccar , so how can i send it and what is the format, may you show me a sample?

Thanks Anton, I'll check it out. I added the 'processing.remoteAddress.enable' flag in the config and restarted the server. Traccar server is only showing the IP of my router so I guess that must be my issue.

Also, can I change how long a device status is "unknown" before it changes to "offline"? I want to use this for some buses, but the updates need to be fast and if there's a bus offline, we need to know right away. "Unknown" doesn't really help, since that could mean several things...
