Nevermind, I got it to work after a restart!
what worked for you I am new to avl setups and am trying to get a ibr900 to communicate to my server but it is not working. any help with protocol and port that you used would be very helpful.

no i added it in manually but it says it's offline

Your server 10.9.x.x is that internal only? Do you have port 5031 open on the firewall? Make sure you allow that inbound.
Also, did you define the TAIP ID of your device/vehicle?
I couldn't get this device to communicate to my on-premise server and demo5.traccar.org
I tried TAIP (ports 5001, 5118, 5031) and NMEA (ports 5001, 5118, 5031) but cannot get it work, please help!
