Hi, did you try h02 port 5013?

Hi
If a tracker doesn't send GPS information , provided one has the protocol right , will it still show up on the server? I get this on the server

not sure if I have the protocol correct
Looking at the last post it looks very similar to some of the idle messages I get from the GT02 devices using port 5002
That looks to be sending (087072809456BP00HSO).
So I would suggest that port 5002 is the correct one
087072809456 is your device ID so this should be what you use in traccar
The BP00 suggests it is a handshake message, probably no location data, is it showing any active GPS lock, a lot of these devices go to sleep if not moving, give it a knock every now and then. Is it close to a window to pick up sats.
Just a few quick thoughts
These are some quick hand shake messages from one of my units

The < coming in to the server
the > going out to the device
port 5002
Thanks Adrian , I'll change the port to 5002. When I send the gprs123456 command the device says gprs Ok , but doesnt look like it send anything. I have the device outside in full view of the sky. I;ll go and give it a bumps and see what happens
Thanks again
Hi Forum
Once we we have the coverted Hex file eg.
[SG*9051044302*009C*UD,010519,043807,A,37.978128,S,176.972912,E,0.0555,000,0,12,60,100,0,50,00000000,5,1,530,1,236,4732,132,236,4733,127,236,9482,123,236,9481,119,236,4721,116,,00]
Do we just look for the matching characters in the python file to find the correct protocol. I am trying to work out how others do it in this software
Regards
Wayne
They are weird, do you have a link to the device showing pictures.
Are you getting any display on the traccar server software.
Hi
Anyone out there know what protocol is?
If so how does one know?
