all OK: http://www.slbdistribution.co.uk/tracking/1_agent_all_ok.pdf
2nd agent joined: http://www.slbdistribution.co.uk/tracking/2nd_agent_now_joined.pdf
Only 1 agent (Darren) has been configured on the report, 2nd agent (Ian) shouldn't be visible but his data is also present and I can clearly see that the lines join up both agents.
This phenomenon only started when the 2nd tracker (Ian) was switched on.
What devices are you using? Do you have some kind of proxy or do devices connect directly to the server?
1 Alcatel Pixi and an iPhone 6
both of these were being used without fault on your demo 5 server previously
The data is sent to a subdomain on our server http://track.slbdistribution.co.uk
The problem is that you are using wrong port. For Traccar Client app you should be using port 5055, so URL in the app should look like this:
http://track.slbdistribution.co.uk:5055
Ah, Ok, Thanks Anton I'll amend the urls.
Thanks for sorting that one out for me.
I'm still getting a few problems Anton when I'm using 2 devices, when looking at the manager my device flashes between online and offline, it does seem to still send location updates but sometimes they are nowhere near where the device is, this obviously causes lots of long and straight lines between points.
I think I may have worked out the problem, traccar server is there with you, my server is located at UKHost4u, however the name servers are at 123reg and the DNS for track.slbdist...... is pointing at you, so everything seems to be triangulated.
What I think is happening is each device sends the info to UKHost4U, which then gets permission from 123reg to finally forward it to you (traccar)
This happens every 3 seconds so I believe my device goes offline because the connection was refused due to it being busy?
I have now changed the URL in each device to bypass everything and point directly to the URL you gave me 209.97..:5055
that has stopped my device from flashing and both are online.
Could you please advise if that practice is OK moving forward, or, do I need to move the domain over to UKHost4U so that they are the nameservers?
Thanks for the great support you've given so far
I'm a bit confused. How is your server related to the problem? Are you proxying some data?
Not intentionally Anton,
I've set up a subdomain on my website track.slbdistribution.co.uk which is hosted at UKHost4U, the domain slbdistribution.co.uk was purchased when we started through 123reg, when we changed servers because they are completely useless they wanted nearly £600 to release all of the domains I control (most are clients of mine) so I left the domains at 123reg and they are simply the name servers now.
What this means is that I can't point track.slbdistribution to 209.97.133.145 from my server at UKHost4U because 123reg are the name servers for that domain so it has to be done at their end, hence why I'm thinking it's being triangulated?
The problem seems to have gone away now and it's working fine so don't worry unduly for now. But there is 1 thing you can answer for me, on todays route trace 2 random locations have been recorded with 0 altitude on multiple occasions, can I delete those 2 points somehow and make it look all pretty again?

Your domain name correctly points to the Traccar server IP address, so data is sent directly to the server. It doesn't go through any other server.
I can remove those data points if you provide some details on how to find them (e.g. device id and exact timestamps).
Thanks Anton,
The device id is: 203690
There are 15 entries that relate to 2 erroneous points , rather than list all of the timestamps it would be easier if you deleted all entries where the lat/long is 51.902451°-0.660287° and 51.911734° -0.654855° as per the image I supplied you can see that where the erroneous entries show the altitude is at '0' so that may also make finding them quite easy.
For a future update maybe it would be good to allow users to delete points themselves? clicking on any point on the map highlights it's location in the report maybe a simple link "DELETE POINT" just like "show address" would be a very useful addition?
Or could you let me know the cost to do this as a bespoke addition for me.
There are 498 location in the database with zero altitude for that device. Latitude and longitude are actually rounded to 6 digits when displayed, so it would be complicated to find those ones.
It would be safe to delete anything with 0 altitude as we will always be above sea level, however the timestamps are below:

Removed everything with altitude zero.
I have had 2 operatives out today, 1 was out on his own until 12pm and his route trace up until this time is fine.
Then he was joined by another operative, at this point it all goes a bit haywire. Both traces seem to have a mass of lines joining the operatives together when they are actually about half a mile apart.
Whats even stranger is when I configure the route in the Manager, and if I don't add the 2nd operative his route also shows up. Each point on the map has a definite coloured line linking the 2 operatives.
I have images if needed, or I am happy to share my login so that someone could see for themselves what I mean.
Help would be very much appreciated.
