I cannot get Traccar Client to work on Demo or my AWS server

I have an EC2 server running Traccar Server. When I add a Traccar Client (from my iPad) to both the AWS server and the Demo Traccar server it shows the device Online and green but Last Update never updates. The Traccar client shows the locations being sent.

My config in Traccar Client is:

AWS Server
http://<aws-ip>:5055

Traccar Demo Server
http://demo.traccar.org:5055

In the Traccar Client app screenshots (in the App Store) it shows a field to add Server port, but on the app on my iPad there is no such field.

I am using the Traccar Client with the green icon from the Apple App Store on and iPad Pro with LTE.

Screenshot in the App Store is somewhat outdated. Now we just use full URL. So, that's not a problem.

What do you mean by "Last Update never updates"? What do you expect to see there? All your screenshots look fine to me, so I don't really understand what the problem is.

First off thank you for this product and your support. It is awesome!

I do not see any location data for the device. Last Update goes from 0 when I started theapp on the phone (as in there are no updates coming in) and just counts up. If I started it 10 mins ago then last update wouldI day 10 mins. I have the device set to update every 15 seconds. So I would expect to see an every 15 seconds correct? If it updates every 15 seconds then last update shouldn't be 10 mins.

Have you tried selecting device in the table? Nothing happens? If yes, messages are probably filtered for some reason. Check server logs.

Yes I click and it highlights device. Nothing shows no event data and no locations on the map.

I can check my server loss once I get port 5055 open. I used demo server you offer to try on 5055.

Any reason it wouldn't be working on demo server?

The only reason I can think of is wrong device time.

I checked and it is using the Verizon time. Any other thoughts?

As I said, you need to check server logs.

Anton I apologize for taking up your time on this. When I run a report I am able to see the data Screenshot, so it is working and logging the data points.

However I am just not able to see the device without running the report Screenshot

So this is super cool but how can I just see the current location and not the route.

I think you forgot to mention that your server works through proxy. I strongly suspect that it's the cause of your problem. It's likely not configured to handle WebSocket connection.

Ok I will have my server guy check this out. I am not 100% sure what that means :).
