Hi
I use Traccar to track myself and my dog as well as a general purpose navigation aid whilst out on walks. In conventional handheld GPS parlance I guess these are in in fact 'tracks' rather than 'routes'. I'd really like to be able to plot a predefined 'route' in the traccar web interface, so that I can see my intended path as well as the tracks and current positions already provided by Traccar.
What's the best way to go about achieving this? As a quick hack I was thinking of creating a new device and injecting some positions for that device in to the database, then display that via a traccar route report.
Any advice much appreciated.
You can use polyline geofence for that.
I had not realised Traccar had open-ended polyline geofence. Many thanks for pointing it out.
Is it possible to enable/disable individual geofences or toggle their visibility?
If you are an admin you can un-link them from your account.
Hi Anton
I'm now importing my waypoints via the api to create polyline geofences.
Thanks for the help and for Traccar, of course.
