CCTR808S, showing on logs but not reporting to portal

Robert 7 years ago

Can anyone help?

I have a CCTR808S, is appears to use Port 5040 as per devices info
https://www.amazon.co.uk/tracker-CCTR808S-standby-12months-waterproof/dp/B00N4RI4D6

When I check the Log file its reporting in but with NO PORT, and now showing on the front end of the portal.

When i send A text to the tracker to read the settings it shows the correct ip and the port shows as 5040

can anyone please confirm i use the 860599007860715 as the id for the tracker on the front end

If you see those messages in the log it means that it's already working.

thats what i assumed, any reason Anton why it would not show on the front end? I am using the ID showing as the ID for the unit

but will now show, anything else I should check, perhaps wrong PORT, I notice the other units that report to the back-end show their Oort number but this one appears to have no port attached to it?

Can you explain the last part? Where do you see port number for other and not for this one?

Robert 7 years ago

when I check the LOGS
I see the port number beside all units that report in, except this one thats not working

You are mixing up two completely different log messages. HEX data always shows port. Decoded data never shows port. It's the same for ALL devices.

im very confused, why does the tracking I can see in ythe log not have port number beside it and all others do? in the same log?

can you help me please to see why dont report to the portal

Anton Tananaev7 years ago

It doesn't show port number in the log because it doesn't need port number. I'm not sure why you keep asking this question. That's just how it works. It has nothing to do with your problem.

ok understand now, may you help me why I can see in logs, but not on portal is 5040 correct port?

If you see decoded message in the log it means that everything is working, as I already told you in my first comment.
