- Create a account on traccar demo server (http://demo5.traccar.org/) or any traccar based server.
- Add device with Identifier or IMEI number (You will find by sending command to device).
- Send Command to device for sending data to your server with port number (may be 5013 )

i followed the above link and installed traccar, registered new account and added a device with imei number. after that how do i find my server ip adress to set on the device?
IP address is address of the machine where you installed it.

i'm not able to add device. it still shows offline
That's your local address. Do you know your public address? Do you have one? Have you configured firewall and router properly? Traccar is a server, so it requires certain technical knowledge if you want to host it yourself.
my public ip adress is same, when i enter "what is my ip adress" on google shows ?

If you do not have one static IP then it is almost not possible to run Traccar and get device data.
It seems that you are talking dynamic IP which will change after restart router.
Recently I have done setup on my home Windows PC with static IP and configuring router as @tananaev told.
just tell me is there any other way that i can use my device web/app interface other than sms commands ?
i'm using a device ST-02 sinotrack via sms, i want to use it on web based tracking. but i'm not getting any support from the company or any sellers. i tried all possible ways on their website sinotracking.com and nothing worked for me.
So i'm planning to use it on traccar. please guide through the process to connect.
please consider this - i do not have pro skills in coding.
