TK206 Development Kit needed

Hi

I came across the TK206 device which contains GPS and a sim card to send data, I also came across the github open source for the server, I wonder which development kit and accessories I need in order to install and configure the OBD TK206 device:

what my understanding are :

1. I can use the github server code in order to develop my private server on my private cloud with no additional costs other than my cloud server
2. I can buy the device, after configuring it to my server, means I will have all data sent to the server.

please correct me if I am wrong

and last question:

which additional things I need to buy to configure the obd TK206 device? cables, boards, development kit?

Your understanding is correct. I don't think you need to buy anything extra.

How can I configure the server on the obd? Is there any board to plug in for configurations? Wondering how could I do it, maybe with bluetooth conectivity?

Usually you just send an SMS message to device to configure it.

I have used tk206 for long time and all works fine in port 5023...

Any recomendations for a specefic device other than the tk206?
