I'm guessing what you trying to ask is why you don't get a location. The answer is that your device doesn't send any location.
Ahhh it does mention weak GPS but i would have assumed it would at least show as being online in Traccar? i have had nothing at all? hours in fact!
It won't show it as online if Traccar is not able to decode the message, which is probably the case here. Are you sure you are using latest release of Traccar?

I assume we use imei and not id with these devices still?
There is no such version. Official Traccar versions only have two numbers with a dot between.

This device uses ID and not IMEI after a little while it logged device is unknown with an ID after using this it came online!

RF-V16 please use ID and not IMEI of your device and port 5013 or 55013 respectively.
Please upload a full server log somewhere, including a message indicating server version.

I have a rf v16 mini gps device. I managed to work with traccar over h02 protocoll. However, the v16 device is only sending the gps coordinates whenever I request it by sending manually "dw#" command via sms. This is happening eventhough I set tracking on by "gon#" command, and 10 minutes auto update "tim,10#" on the device. What else should I do to be able to get gps location auto update?
Hello Norbert and rest, I want to know how your V16 is working now? Does it send the gps location at the interval? Or does newer V16 this better?
