Mictrack 4G GPS Tracker MT600 Feedback

Mictrack7 years ago

Hello Mark,

If sms working fine but no data to server, it should be APN issues.
We suggest call your SIM Card provider to get the correct APN and then set it again by 803 command. As i know the AT&T apn is "phone" if so you can send this command to MT600: #803#0000#phone##

if still issues pls contact us for help info@mictrack.com

Thanks,
Mictrack

Is there any other way besides using a car battery to power the mt600? I thought I could use it for my robot lawn mower but I don't know how to charge it?

Mictrack7 years ago

Hi,

You can get one 12V AC adapter to connect to the power wire to charge the device.
if still questions pls email us info@mictrack.com

Hi Alex,

the device can save about 300pcs datas when no signal and the new data will cover the old ones.
Power off/reboot will lost the data.

this is the full protocol for your check.

If there are ACC OFF/ON events and thereĀ“s no signal, is it saved and loaded when signal comes back?

I want to use the equipment to count hours on trucks.

Mictrack7 years ago

yes, the device will save the ACC OFF/ON events, but pls notice it only can save 300pcs datas and the new coming data will cover the old ones.

Hi! I e-mailed you at info@ but you never responded. I have a few questions:

  1. I was looking on how to use the USB port on the unit to configure and debug.
  2. Is there a code to allow the unit to roam onto other networks?
  3. Is there a code to make the unit 4G LTE only?

Thanks!

Hi Adam,

Sorry we will check the emaill later.

  1. You can download the Config tool from this link:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B32J3VHnO7UOcHRHbm1LU3p2RlE
  2. For the roam it's base on your SIM Card, if so the device will support tha like the samrt phone;
  3. if so need modify the firmware to support that, current device is AUTO mode to connect to 4G/3G or 2G.

Thanks,
Mictrack

Hi Mictrack,
I bought the new 4G GPS Tracker MT600 Plus, but I have some questions. For example what commands I should use to change the default password via SMS?
Also is there a command which I can use to interrogate the battery level status for the gps tracker internal battery and for the car/motorbike battery?
Can you please post a complete list of SMS commands supported by MT600 Plus?
Thanks,
Sorin (from Nicosia, Cyprus)

Hi Sorin,

  1. You can change the password by this command: 777+new password+old password
Example: 77712340000 (Default password is 0000)

  2. The MT600 Plus will auto-detect the backup battery and car's battery voltage and report to server.
You can check it from the protocol:
    https://www.mictrack.com/downloads/protocols/Mictrack_Communication_Protocol_For_MT600_Plus_V1.0.pdf

  3. The latest user manual is: https://www.mictrack.com/downloads/user-manual/4g-gps-tracker/MT600_Plus_User_Manual_V1.0.pdf

  4. MT600 Plus support the Ultrasonic Fuel Level sensor:
    https://www.mictrack.com/downloads/user-manual/4g-gps-tracker/UFLS-100_User_Manual_V1.0.pdf

  5. The iButton also will support in the next new firmware.

Please let me know if you have other question.

Thanks,
Mictrack
