No, it's not an official Traccar app. It might be using old protocol. Tell your friend to try port 5005.
My friend told me about that the Device ID is an alphanumeric string with near 25 characters.
Is this ok for your server ?

Had the same(25 characters id), but failed to succeed right for now.
You can reassign it for your own one, for example, IMEI or phone number)
