our company bought few cheap tracking devices (GT02) from china, because of new law in our country,
you have to write log book for each company car.
After few day of usage them with china server (login information was include in package), I decide to
install some tracking server on our windows server.
First one which I installed was traccar. Installation was pretty easy and connecting devices too.
But there was one problem, it does not support exporting rides to CSV.
So than I start searching for some more complex tracking software.
I installed Open GTS, but it has terrible web interface (looks like pages from 90’ and it is really complicated for basic user).
Then I installed GPS Gate, installation wasn’t so bad, but after few hours I wasn’t able to add maps (google, or open maps).
So after all, I was thinking and our company really doesn’t need huge app like opengts or gps gate( we need it only for 10 cars).
We just need to see where our cars actually are and to have logs of their trips.
Just two function will be fine, exporting trips to CSV and possibility to change icon of each car, because when you have
10 car is one city, you have to clink on each one to see which one it is.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Both features are in plans and have relatively high priority.
I'd like to see a lable of each unit on the gui, rather than just a dot.
Add labels is in plans as well.
