It's possible. You would need to configure proxy for Traccar. Example on how to configure it for Apache here:
Thanks Anton you legend! So quick!
What's the minimum "hardware" specs I will need to begin with to run traccar? Tracking less then 50 devices?
Let me know if I should ask this in another topic?
Thanks
Will
You would need at least 1GB of RAM on your VPS.
Awesome, thanks again..!!
Besides my internet connection needing to be reliable, will I be able to do this from Office/home on a Ubuntu physical machine?
I don't see why not, as long as you have remote access to the server.
Thanks again Anton!!
Hi Anton,
I installed everything as per the Apache proxy instructions, but the url I put to redirect to traccar just points to Apache page instead of actual server. Any ideas on what I should change in apache to point it to traccar installation. Localhost:8082 opens tracker successfully but just not when I use the url below
tracking.trackmystuff.com.au
Hi there,
Has anyone installed Traccar and have hosted sites on the same server? I am currently hosting some sites via a hosting providor. I was thinking of getting a VPS and then installing traccar and host these sites along side with one o fthem pointing at the traccar? Will this work? Ubuntu server
Thanks
