What is this little switch on my tracker?

Does someone knows what is this little switch I can move on my tracker?

Also do you know how I can use the USB port to edit the software ?
I would like to use a sim card with a pin code for example

Hi,
In relation the picture above:
In the present position the tracker is always on (battery powered).
In the other position it only turns on when external power is supplied.

You won't be able to use a SIM card that is not unlocked.
Regarding USB - no idea.

The documentation states that the USB is for firmware updating by the manufacturer so it is probably a serial port.
