Can not log into server "Unable To Connect"

Installed Traccar server on Raspberry Pi running Ubuntu 16.04 ran the sudo /opt/traccar/bin/traccar start

The server replied
Starting traccar...
Waiting for traccar........
running: PID:3538
999@999-desktop:~$ 

I opened up port 5055 in the Raspberry pi Firewall and opened port 5055 in the router.

Can not access the server from the machine its installed on using http://localhost:8082/

Suggestions?

Before asking for help you should always check logs and search for existing solutions.

Thanks for the reply but I am not sure how to do that where is the logs and what am I looking for?

My experiance with Traccar is very limited I tried to setup Traccar about this time last year for a off road riding trip and run out of time before the trip this is my second attempt at getting Traccar running and working.

I used the search but found nothing because I am not even sure what to search for if someone could narrow the search field al little bit or point me in the right direction ?
