Hello,
I am facing a problem with the server.
It spopped working after reboot. I am running Traccar 3.13 on Ubuntu on a VM with 1Gb RAM.
Everything was working fine after update but after rebooting server Traccer didn´t start.
When I execute:
federico@Tracker:~$ sudo service traccar restart
This error appears:
Job for traccar.service failed because a configured resource limit was exceeded. See "systemctl status traccar.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details.
And the following are the results of the systemctl status and the journalctl:
Can you help me to make it work again? I can provide a SSH access if you need it.
federico@Tracker:~$ sudo service traccar restart

Well, you are not using official version. I would recommend that you try official release without any modifications.
Don't use "service" tool. Please use scripts from "/opt/traccar/bin" folder to manage service.

Hi Anton,
Thanks for your answer.
What modifications do you see? I do not want to use a no official version.
I am not a Linux expert. So, I have just followed documentation.
I just wget "https://github.com/tananaev/traccar/releases/download/v3.13/traccar-linux-3.13.zip", unzipped it and installed running "sudo ./traccar.run"
I have only modiffied the config files.
And I use "service" because is the only way I know :(
Thanks again.
Federico.-
Please read README file for commands that you should use to start service.
Hello again Anton,
You left me thinking...
What modifications do you see from the official version?
Help me understand cause I did no changes...
Thanks and regards.
Ignore my first comment. I saw that you use "service" command and assumed that you are using some modified version.
Re-install Traccar and follow README instructions.
I did and now is working ok.
Thanks for your support!
Kind regards.
