When I add a new device the totalDistance attribute is not zero:

I have tried to remove the device and add it again as a new device but without luck.
How is it possible to either reset the totalDistance for a device or make it zero when the device is added?
Initial value is always zero. If you want to reset it, there is a special option in the menu for that.
