Distance filter and events/positions

Hi,

When i use the configuration option "filter.distance" it will filter positions and events?

For example, the car is stopped and someone disconnect the battery, the power cut event is going to be filtered?

Filtering directly affects positions, but because events are calculated based on positions, it will affect events as well.
