Are you talking about Android version? What frequency do you have configured? Have you configured distance or angle parameters?
I tested on Android 7.0 and 6.0. I only have configured the time parameters = "60". The distance and angle parameters remained value = "0"
60 seconds might be small enough that Android just decides to keep GPS ON all the time. Android OS actually controls the GPS module based on the frequency that apps request from it.
When we started the Traccar client, the "location icon" stay always enable (atvive) and in its properties the information is that spent a high resources of battery ( I do not know about GPRS consumption).
Is there a way to change to "enable on" and "enable off" only when will send the information according the time setted?
If not, do you think that it is maybe a good idea for the next revisions?
