It works perfect but I can't find how to setup when it sends data. Currently I ran it one day with gprs with a prepaid simcard and it charges almost EUR 0,50 for a day. MB cost EUR 0,10 and is charged per KB (they say ;) ).

User manual:

Using GPRS MODE:
Command SLEEP 3 minutes
Command 809 reporting 15 seconds
Your data consumption will be between 2-5 MB for a whole month
Tnx Arturo, I will check tomorrow. But I think I got a different one since I used these commands to program the device:

It was delivered with a Chinese manual only. So I looked at it and found some English letters which I used :D. Then I googled for a manual where I could find these English terms, result is the above link.
Misunderstanding, your first purchase link, pointed to the manufacturer iTrac
If you have configured it with the commands of your last link, obviously it is not the A1 model of the manufacturer

Unfortunately, you either will not find it helpfull the iTrack manuals page
@ptr ...your first link is where you bought it?
The item description repeats several times that it is the model A1 of the manufacturer iTrac
Hi Arturo,
You are right. I made a mistake. I bought two trackers. The one from the link and a similar one which I bought at this shop since I could not wait.

It looks the same but internally it is a different one. The manual I linked brlongs to the tracker above. Your manual to the itack device (I'm still waiting to receive this one).
@Arturo: I receive the otter device. Setup the values as you proposed. The other unit currenty uses 300kb per day which is 1€ per month. Thans acceptable. Tnx for the advice.
hi ptr,
does this device work ok? what interval do you use? wich sim card provider do you use?
thanks, Paul
Still having problems with reporting. It does not show trips correct. I have three devices now, only one shows trips correct.
But I now have a problem with my database.. it is corrupt :(
You probably need to adjust trip calculation parameters.
I want complete analysis of driving pattern with trip-report. It should be supported by multiple alarms.
